Urban Sketching or urban drawing is a complete creative experience, aiming to showcase the world, sketch by sketch. Each piece tells a story—the story of the surroundings, of a specific time and place, with a personal and unique perspective. Urban sketchers strive to remain true to the scenes they live in and draw, yet they celebrate the diversity of each artist.

With this experience, we aim to learn, share, and have each group member recognized and recognize themselves in others. That’s why we strive to draw as a group. Urban Sketching is a communal experience that aspires to document an ever-changing reality. It is also an individual experience that teaches us to observe and appreciate the peculiarities of what we see.

There are no limits. And if there are, we will try to break them. To embark a little further. For this experience, it is not necessary to know how to draw. We will train the stroke, but above all, the gaze. Drawing is knowing how to look. We will find points of support and build from there. Each at their own pace, with their own stroke, with justifiable expectations, and above all, with a desire to enjoy. We start with a doodle, and who knows where we’ll end up.

Do you dare? Through simple exercises in front of an urban and coastal backdrop, we will learn to observe, feel, and capture what we see on paper.

We are not seeking perfection; instead, we start with the premise that in art, there is no such thing as an error. Without fear of mistakes, we can surprise ourselves. We will learn to embrace everything that happens on paper.

Also available in a nighttime version.
“The nighttime activity allows us to explore drawing ‘in negative,’ resulting in a surprising outcome. We draw what isn’t there or what isn’t visible, ultimately revealing the presence of urban objects with a different light.”

We choose spaces considering architectural barriers so that you won’t encounter any difficulties during the journey.
