Enjoy a very special and unique experience in one of Catalonia’s quintessential wine regions; a stroll through vineyards while tasting fine wine accompanied by local products, all while learning the secrets of organic cultivation and some of the region’s history.

The activity begins with a welcome glass of cava, and guided by experts, we will explore the vineyards.

This activity is recommended for blind individuals, as it includes a series of tactile elements that allow them to explore objects and materials used in wine production with their hands, enhancing their enjoyment of this experience.

After exploring the vineyard, the source of the raw material for wines and cavas, you will enter an ancient cellar where various tools used in wine production are displayed. Here, experts will explain the wine-making process. You’ll get to know corks and have access to the old cellar (former 16th-century paper mill where cavas age in barrels—please note, the old cellar is not accessible for people with reduced mobility).

The tour concludes in one of the cellar rooms, where a fabulous tasting of local products awaits: bread with tomato, cheeses, cured meats, and more.

In organic cultivation wines, phytosanitary treatments are minimized, and no fertilizers or pesticides are used, as the main characteristics of the wines in the region emphasize utmost respect for the natural product.

Products you will taste: rosé cava, white cava, white wine, red wine.

Accessibility:

The route is wheelchair-accessible, although some sections may pose slight difficulties that can be easily overcome with assistance. All areas visited are in the countryside, and there are places where a wheelchair user may need more assistance to get in and out of the van. Once in the aperitif area, the space is wheelchair-accessible.

People with visual impairments will learn about the secrets of wine-making through more descriptive explanations and tactile elements.
