A unique and inclusive journey led by a professional photographer, who, from his wheelchair, invites you to capture the magic of the historic La Ribera neighborhood—the only district in the city that has preserved its medieval layout.

This experience is an invitation to feel and connect with the place in a more personal and intimate way. A leisurely and quiet stroll through street photography.

The route begins on Banys Vells Street, then meanders through various alleys: Argenteria-Princesa-Montcada, and the Church of Santa Maria del Mar.

The streets we’ll traverse are mostly pedestrian, with some gentle slopes. Along the way, you’ll encounter lights and shadows, and Agus will share historical facts and anecdotes about the streets. You’ll photograph urban art and small urban sculptures like La Carassa.

Agus will also provide technical tips on the best way to do street photography, whether with your camera or mobile phone. He’ll demonstrate the technique he uses with his camera to capture the street with ease and spontaneity while maneuvering his wheelchair.

We’ll conclude the route at one of the most significant buildings in the neighborhood, the former Mercat del Born, with its industrial architecture now transformed into a historic venue from a key era in the city.

If you enjoy photography, exploring streets that transport you through time, and relishing stories that touch your heart, you’ll love this photographic journey! Plus, there will be a surprise detail at the end for you to take home as a memento.

Agus has turned photography into a channel of expression and a part of his work. He experienced an assault that left him in a wheelchair, sparking the idea to create a system to attach the camera to his chair and take photos using a remote trigger.

“Thanks to photography, I could manage my emotions in a way I couldn’t with words and begin to find my own space within my new condition.”
