It’s challenging not to be captivated by Krakow. Until the 18th century, it served as the capital of the country. A stroll through the historic center, near Wawel Hill with the Vistula River and the Planty Park surrounding the city, is a delightful experience. That’s why it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The music in the market square at night and the vibrant atmosphere are enchanting. Its history is powerful; here, you’ll also find a former Jewish ghetto and the Auschwitz extermination camp, one of the best-preserved, serving as a poignant reminder of the past, ensuring that future generations learn and never forget.
